UC Santa Barbara Summer Program- 2022 TBD!
Research Mentorship Program: The Research Mentorship Program is a competitive, six-week summer program that engages qualified, high-achieving high school students from all over the world in interdisciplinary, hands-on, university-level research. Students will be paired up with a mentor (graduate student, postdoc, or faculty) and choose a research project from a large list of disciplines offered by the program each year. (June 30-July 30, 2021)

Summer Research Academies: The Summer Research Academies offer a dynamic, 4-week summer program that introduces qualified high school students to the research enterprise through project-based, directed research in STEM, Humanities, and Social Sciences fields. Students will take a 4-unit university course where they choose and develop a research topic specific to the track they select, under the direction of an instructor who is conducting active research in that field. (June 27-July 23, 2021)

UCLA Summer Sessions offers high school students the unique opportunity to take academic courses and programs alongside UCLA students over the summer. All our courses and programs are UCLA credit-bearing and are recorded on an official UCLA transcript. UC Davis Young Scholars Summer Program for 10/11th graders
The UC Davis Young Scholars Program is a summer residential research program designed to expose approximately 40 high achieving high school students to the world of original research within the fields of the biological, agricultural, environmental and natural sciences. Participants in the UC Davis Young Scholars Program will work one-on-one with research faculty and research groups in state of the art laboratories for six weeks. Each student will work on an individual project and prepare a journal quality paper and symposium presentation about their work. The Summer Program will be remote and will run June 21 – July 30. There is a fee for the Program with need-based scholarships available.
Stevens Institute of Technology Summer Opportunity
The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is offering a paid virtual summer research program for high school students. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics, and finance. At the conclusion of the program students will complete both a written and oral presentation. The written report will include a literature review, and the oral presentation will include a 5-minute video of a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. The program will run from July 1, 2022 - August 12, 2022, and students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program. Applications due February 1st, 2022.
Eligibility - Applicants must currently be in their junior year of high school (no exceptions).
