www.californiacolleges.edu has loads of information about applying to colleges in California. Includes virtual campus tours, criteria searches, and a student-campus matching assistant. Also includes information about community colleges and universities as well as private and public colleges in California.

www.collegeboard.org SAT and AP information: The "starting point" for students, parents, counselors, admission staff, etc. Includes SAT Reasoning and Subject Test registration, preparation, and information, allows viewing and sending of test scores, offers college search capabilities, financial aid calculation, etc.
www.actstudent.org ACT information. Offers registration, test prep resources, source for viewing and sending test scores, college and career planning, etc.
