AP EXAM REMINDER!!!
Deadline to PAY and JOIN for all AP exams is Monday, March 1, 2021.
Pay for your AP exams through the Parent-Q Portal.
The Parent Q-Portal is open for AP Exam purchase. The cost is $105/AP exam (or
$145/exam if you did not JOIN the class on AP Student Account by 11/1/2020) and is
payable by PayPal or credit/debit card ONLY. No cash or checks accepted.
Students will NOT receive an exam unless payment is made in Q Parent Portal.
Don’t forget to JOIN and PAY
TO JOIN: You can join &/or verify your current AP Exam registrations in your College Board MyAP account. All changes must be received by March 1st

If a student qualifies for Free & Reduced Lunch (FARL), the Q Parent Portal automatically applies the reduced rate per exam to your order at checkout time.
If students change their mind about taking the AP exam:
Because of the unique COVID situation, you will be allowed a FULL refund if
requested before March 1st. After March 1st, families will be subject to a $10 processing fee,
but will still get $95 refunded (for the $105 exam).
Deadline for Refund Requests is June 1st. Reduced Fee Exams are not eligible for Refund.

Free & Reduced Lunch Program for AP Fee Waivers
Students who have qualified for the Federal Free & Reduced Lunch Program could be eligible for fee waivers from various College Board for AP exams. Students would pay $5 for exams instead of $105/$153. If you haven’t applied, please use this link, CVUSD Child Nutrition website: https://www.conejousd.org/Departments/Business-Services/Child-Nutrition/Online-Meal-Application
If you applied last year, you must reapply ASAP! (Application is available in English and Spanish.)
**Please take note! While you may not actually take part in the Free Lunch program (pick up a free lunch), but being in the program is usually the only way to qualify for certain fee waiver benefits. (Including AP exam fee reductions). Take the time to review the criteria and apply!
Some colleges use the financial information you provide in your application to apply a fee waiver. Be sure to complete this information accurately and completely. You cannot change the information after you have submitted.
Email or call the college’s admissions office for special consideration. If you or your family have experienced a job loss or other circumstances that make it difficult to pay an application fee, the admissions representative may be able to help you.
